"Mint" for you!

I get tons of recipes from Pinterest. I've tried several and have yet to be disappointed.

I found this blog through Pinterest with a recipe for Thin Mint cookies. It's about to be Girl Scout Cookie season and one of my favorite things is seeing those little boxes of cookies outside of the grocery store. I love me some Thin Mints, so I thought I would give these a try....

.....AND THEY ARE TOTALLY AMAZING!!!

Seriously, go get you some Ritz Crackers and Andes Creme de Menthe baking chips! These are so easy! Michael helped make them!

Here's your supplies: Ritz crackers and a pack Andes Creme de Menthe Baking Chips (I'm sure regular Andes mints would work fine, but they probably cost more and you would have to unwrap all of them).

Pour the Andes Mints into a double boiler - I used a glass bowl over a small amount of water over low-medium heat. Stir around until they all melt!

Dip each cracker into the chocolate until it's coated. Then place onto some wax paper to cool.

We then made a cute little valentine card to attach to our mint cookies.

The hardest part is waiting for the chocolate to harden so you can eat them! We solved this problem by putting them in the freezer! They were ready in a few minutes!

My friend Sarah does blog posts about the things she tries from Pinterest. She calls them Pintentional Posts (clever, huh?).

I'm thinking about joining her, so consider this Pintentional Post #1! Success!

Yeah, more moms who are being pintentional! We are all one at heart! Apparently great minds think alike! My website TheCharacterMom.com has been under construction for over a year, but now the Pintentional Parenting Page is up and running and growing daily. If you would like to post on it, just contact me.I just found your blog, but I am loving it and the more moms that want to join in contributing the better!
